Integrations
Last updated: April 16, 2026
Bridgit offers integrations to connect your existing systems in order to eliminate data silos, reduce manual entry, and create a centralized source of truth for workforce planning. With integrations available with more than 25 platforms, Bridgit can sync critical data from your HRIS, CRM, project management, and central data storage systems.
How They Work
One-way data flow: Bridgit pulls data from your source systems but never pushes changes back. Your HRIS, CRM, and project management tools remain your system of record—Bridgit reflects that truth without conflicting updates.
Clear boundaries:
Updates to employee data, project details, and opportunities happen in your source systems → sync to Bridgit automatically
Workforce planning, allocations, and team building happen in Bridgit → stay in Bridgit
Changes to dates or allocations in Bridgit show immediate visual feedback on impacts to roles, teams, and phases
Key capabilities:
Automatic updates for people, projects, and opportunities
Custom field mapping to match your data structure
Real-time synchronization (most changes appear within 5 minutes)
This approach keeps your source systems authoritative while giving you powerful visual workforce planning in Bridgit.
Integration Categories
Bridgit offers four types of integrations. For optimal workforce planning, we recommend integrating all three core data sources: People, Opportunities, and Projects.
What syncs across all integrations:
New records added automatically
Existing records and custom fields updated
Status changes (awarded, lost, cancelled, terminated, reactivated)

The Integration Process
Standard Integration Flow:
Trigger: Change occurs in your source system
Search: Integration checks if record exists in Bridgit using unique identifier
Action: System adds new record or updates existing record
Sync: Both platforms remain synchronized
Sync Frequency:
Most integrations sync in near real-time, with changes appearing in Bridgit within 5 minutes
Some integrations run on longer scheduled intervals based on platform capabilities
Custom schedules can be configured based on your needs
Setup Process:
Bridgit's integration team manages the entire setup:
Connection: You provide access to your source system
Configuration: Our team configures the integration framework with your specific data mapping and logic
Testing and refinement: We meet to review our approach, gather your feedback, and iterate
Launch: Integration goes live with ongoing monitoring
Your Customer Success Manager or Account Executive will help identify which integrations make sense for your workforce planning needs.

Common Questions

Q: What happens if the integration fails?
Bridgit monitors all integrations and our team receives alerts for failures. We investigate and resolve issues quickly.
Q: Can we pause an integration temporarily?
Yes, integrations can be paused and resumed as needed. Contact your Customer Success Manager to request a pause.
Q: What if my system isn't listed?
Bridgit can explore custom integrations for platforms with API access, database connectivity, or file export capabilities. Contact your Customer Success Manager to discuss feasibility and timeline.
Best Practices
Clean your data first: Review and clean data in your source system before integration launch to ensure accurate syncing
Focus on workforce planning fields: Only integrate data that truly impacts workforce planning decisions
Document custom fields clearly: Provide clear documentation for custom fields that need to map between systems
Plan for change management: Communicate integration launch to your team and explain how data will flow
Review regularly: Periodically review what's syncing to ensure it still meets your needs
