Common Workflows
Tracking a new data point across all people: Create a custom field in People settings, select the appropriate field type, and decide whether it should be mandatory or confidential. Use Custom Field Order to position it where it makes sense in your workflow.
Adding a new job title: Navigate to People System Fields, click on "Title" to open the list, add the new title option, and save. Optionally set a default cost rate for the new title.
Hiding sensitive salary information: When creating or editing a cost-related field, click the eye icon to make it confidential. Only users with appropriate permissions will be able to view this data.
Reorganizing profile layout: Use Custom Field Order to drag and drop fields into a sequence that matches how your team naturally works through profiles, placing the most frequently used fields near the top.
Maintaining dropdown consistency: Regularly review your selection lists to remove outdated options, add new ones as your business evolves, and ensure consistency across similar fields.
