Bridgit's mobile app brings workforce planning to your phone, allowing you to manage projects and people from anywhere. The mobile app is available for both iOS and Android devices and syncs in real-time, ensuring you always have access to the most up to date information.

Eligibility/Prerequisites
Device requirements:
iOS device running iOS 12 or later
Android device running Android 8.0 or later
Active internet connection (WiFi or cellular data)
Account requirements:
Active Bridgit account with login credentials
Same permissions as your desktop account apply to mobile
Your mobile access reflects your assigned permission level and profile type visibility
Note: If you have Groups enabled in your account, the global group filter will carry over to mobile.
How to Use
Downloading and Installing the App
Open the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android)
Search for "Bridgit Bench"
Tap Install or Get
Once installed, tap Open to launch the app
Logging In
Open the Bridgit app
Enter your email address and password
Tap Log In
If your organization uses SSO (Single Sign-On), select that option and follow the authentication prompts
Navigating the Mobile App
The mobile app uses a bottom navigation bar with four main sections:
Dashboard: Quick access to key metrics and insights
People: Browse and manage your workforce
Projects: View and manage projects and roles
More: Additional features including settings, support, and profile access
Working with People
Viewing a person's profile:
Tap People in the bottom navigation
Use the search bar or scroll to find the person
Tap their name to open their full profile
Key actions on people profiles:
View current and upcoming assignments
Check availability and utilization
Add or edit notes
View experience tracking data
Review certifications and time off
Access contact information
Filtering people:
Tap the filter icon in the top right
Select your filter criteria (title, availability, group, etc.)
Tap Apply to update the list
Working with Projects
Viewing a project:
Tap Projects in the bottom navigation
Use the search bar or scroll to find the project
Tap the project name to open its profile
Key actions on project profiles:
View project details and dates
See all roles and assignments
Review team composition
Add or edit notes
Check project status (awarded or pursuit)
Filling roles on mobile:
Open a project profile
Tap on an unfilled role
Review suggested people
Select a person to assign them
Confirm the assignment
Using Dashboard Metrics
The mobile dashboard displays key workforce insights:
Utilization rate
People on the bench
Unfilled roles
Roles for hire
Expiring certifications
Tap any metric to navigate to the detailed view and take action.
Adding Notes
On a person profile:
Open the person's profile
Scroll to the Notes section
Tap Add Note
Type your note
Choose to make it private (if you have permissions)
Tap Save
On a project profile:
Open the project profile
Scroll to the Notes section
Tap Add Note
Type your note
Tap Save
Tip: Use @mentions to notify other users about important updates, even from mobile.
Managing Notifications
Tap More in the bottom navigation
Select Settings
Tap Notifications
Toggle notification preferences on or off
Choose which types of alerts you want to receive
Common Workflows
Quick availability check on the go: Open the app, navigate to People, and apply an availability filter to see who's free for an urgent assignment.
Filling a role from a job site: Receive a notification about an unfilled role, open the project, review smart suggestions, and assign someone directly from your phone.
Reviewing project status during travel: Open the Projects section, select your project, and review all role assignments and team details without needing your laptop.
Checking in on workforce utilization: Open the Dashboard to see your current utilization rate and identify who's on the bench or overallocated.
Adding important context immediately: When you have a conversation or insight about a person or project, add a note right away so the information is captured while it's fresh.

Q: Is the mobile app as full-featured as the desktop version?
The mobile app focuses on the most essential workforce management tasks. Some advanced features like detailed reporting, bulk editing, and administrative settings are best accessed on desktop.
Q: Does the mobile app work offline?
The mobile app requires an active internet connection to sync data and make updates. Limited viewing of previously loaded data may be available, but you won't be able to make changes or see real-time updates without connectivity.
Q: Will my mobile actions sync to desktop immediately?
Yes, all changes made on mobile sync to your account in real-time. Any assignments, notes, or edits you make will be immediately visible to other users on desktop or mobile.
Q: Can I add new projects or people from mobile?
Currently, adding new projects and people is optimized for the desktop experience. The mobile app focuses on viewing and managing existing data.
Q: Do I need to download separate apps for iOS and Android?
Yes, download the appropriate version for your device from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). Both versions offer the same core functionality.
Q: Can I export data or run reports from mobile?
Data exports and detailed reporting are currently desktop-only features. Use the mobile app to view insights and take action, then access desktop for comprehensive reporting needs.
