Microsoft OAuth Setup Instructions

Bridgit Bench supports OAuth 2.0 for Microsoft. 

If your IT department requires approval for new OAuth applications, follow the steps below to add Bridgit Bench.

Approve the Bridgit Bench Enterprise Application

Bridgit is in the process of publishing the Bench app in the Microsoft Entra application gallery. In the meantime, use the following steps to approve the Bridgit Bench enterprise application:

1. As an Entra ID Administrator, go to https://bench.gobridgit.com
2. Click Enterprise Login
3. Enter your organization name, which can be provided by Bridgit Support if needed
4. Click Continue
5. If prompted, click Continue with Microsoft
6. Accept/Approve the permissions for the Bridgit Bench application                                   ​​
7. The application should now appear in your Entra ID Enterprise Applications
   • Bridgit Bench Enterprise Application ID: 906fd913-b9b8-45dc-8cdb-3546964172df
   • The app will look like this: ​

Note: It is expected behavior to encounter a login error in Bench when completing the above steps, as this action only pushes the enterprise app into the Entra gallery to complete the setup.
