Settings > Account > Permissions
Administrators can create custom permission sets to allow team members to contribute to their workforce plan without allowing them to have full access to the tool. Administrators are able to customize permission sets and assign users as needed.
For more information on permission options see User Roles and Permission Groups.
Create Custom Permission Sets with Default Options
Click the + icon to add new custom permissions or select an existing one to edit or delete.
To create a new permission set, enter a name, and select the permissions for the new group. All permission groups include the View Only permission for salaried, hourly, or both.
Once a custom permission set has been created, it can then be assigned to active users via User Settings.
Create Custom Permission Sets with Hourly Workforce Planning
The Hourly Workforce Planning feature must be enabled to access these permission sets.
Follow the steps above to create a Custom Permission Set. When creating the permission set for Hourly Workforce Planning, you will also see the following options:
- View All Hourly - View all hourly people, hourly roles, and hourly allocations
- Manage Hourly Roles - Add, edit, and remove hourly roles on a project. Note that editing and removing hourly roles can impact hourly allocations on the project.
- Manage Hourly Allocations → Add, edit, and remove hourly allocations on a project
When Hourly Workforce Planning is enabled View All Salaried or View All Hourly must be selected.
Note: Custom permission sets cannot be deleted if a user is assigned; the user would have to be removed from the permission set first. An error message appears until the conflict is resolved.
