Add Projects
Users with project-write permission can create new projects on the Bridgit Bench mobile app. Any missing fields can be added via the Project Settings on the web portal.
- While on the Projects tab, click the + icon.
- Fill out the required fields and click Next to proceed.
- Project names can be up to 200 characters long.
- Enter project a Start Date and End Date. Click Save to finish adding the project.
- Phases can be added but are optional.
Add Roles
- With a project in context, click the Add a Role button.
- In the Add Role window, click Select a Role.
- Select a role and confirm the Start/End Dates and Allocation Percentage.
- Click Add to confirm the changes.
Delete Roles
- With a project in context, select the requested role.
- In the role window, click Edit, which takes you to the Edit Role and Allocations window.
- Selecting a role that is unfilled takes you to the Place a Person window. From here, click Edit to go to the Edit Role and Allocations window.
- Select Delete Role. If the role is filled, a warning message appears.
- Select Delete to proceed or cancel to withdraw.
Place a Person in a Role
- With a project in context, select the requested unfilled role.
- Select a person from the list.
- The list of people defaults to the selected role. This list can be further filtered by applying additional filters or using the search bar.
- Click Save to confirm.
Remove a Person from a Role
- With a project in context, select the requested role.
- In the Role window, tap Edit, which takes you to the Edit Role and Allocations window.
- Click the orange X beside the person's name. If the role is filled, a warning message appears.
- Click Remove to proceed or cancel to withdraw.
Edit Role and Allocations
- Select an existing role.
- On the role window, tap Edit, which takes you to the Edit Role and Allocations window.
- Selecting a role that is unfilled takes you directly to the Edit Role and Allocations window.
- Here you can modify a Role's Start/End Dates and Allocation Percentage. The Allocation itself can also be edited, including removing the person and updating Start/End Dates.
Add People
Users with Manage People permission can add new people on the Bridgit Bench mobile app. Any missing fields can be added via the People Settings on the web portal.
- While on the People tab, click the + icon.
- Fill out the required fields. Click Save to proceed.
Enlarge Profile Photos
Profile photos can only be added with the Bridgit Bench web portal.
