Add Projects
Users with the Manage Projects permission can create new projects on the Bridgit Bench mobile app. Any missing fields can be added via the Project Settings on the web portal.
- On the Projects tab, select the + icon.
- Fill out the required fields and select Next.
- Project names can be up to 200 characters long.
- Enter a project Start Date and End Date. Select Save to finish adding the project.
- Phases can be added but are optional.
Add Roles
- Select a project then select the Add a Role button.
- Select between Salaried or Hourly roles. (Hourly will be available if this feature has been enabled for the account)
- In the Add Role window, press Select a Role.
- Select a role and customize the following:
- Start/End Dates
- Description
- Allocation Percentage
- Copies of the role (max. 99 copies)
- Select Add to confirm.
Delete Roles
- Select a project then select a role in the Overview tab.
- In the role window, select Edit.
- Select Delete Role. If the role is filled, a warning message appears.
- Select Delete to proceed or Cancel to withdraw.
Place a Person in a Role
- Select a project then select an unfilled role in the Overview tab.
- Select a person from the list.
- The list of people defaults to the selected role or group the project has been assigned to. This list can be further filtered by applying additional filters by selecting the
icon.

- Select Save to confirm.
Remove a Person from a Role
- Select a project then select the filled role in the Overview tab.
- Select Edit to launch the Edit Role and Assignments modal.
- Select the
icon and a warning message will appear.
- Select Remove or Remove and Send Alert to proceed or cancel to withdraw.
Edit Role and Allocations
- Select a project then select the role in the Overview tab.
- Select Edit to launch the Edit Role and Allocations modal.
- Select the role's Start/End Dates and Allocation Percentage to modify. The Allocation can also be edited, including removing the person and updating the Start / End Dates.
Add People
Users with Manage People permission can add new people on the Bridgit Bench mobile app. Any missing fields can be added via the People Settings on the web portal.
- On the People tab, select the + icon.
- Complete the required fields then select Save to proceed.
Enlarge Profile Photos
Profile photos can only be added with the Bridgit Bench web portal. When a person's profile is selected, select a person's profile picture to enlarge.
