Project and phase dates can be modified from the Projects view under the Dates tab.
Edit Project Dates
Shift Project
This feature allows shifting the entire project including start and end dates. Any roles, allocations, or phases with dates outside of the new project duration are updated as well.
- Open the required project and select the Dates > Shift Project.
- Add the new start date by typing it in or selecting the
icon.
- Select Save to confirm.
- A warning message appears about the impact of the date shift on all roles, allocations and phases.
- Select Confirm to proceed.
Edit Project Start Date or End Date
When a project date is edited, users have visibility and options surrounding potentially impacted phases, allocations, and role dates due to the project date update.
- Open the required project and select the Dates tab.

Select the
icon beside the requested date and edit the new date by typing it or selecting the
icon.
- Select Save to confirm.
- A window opens that outlines all impacted phase dates and roles.
- If a project is extended, the option of selecting specific phases and roles to extend becomes available.

- Select Save to proceed.
Edit Phase Dates
The general rules for phase dates apply when editing phase dates.
- Open the required project and select the Dates section.

icon beside the phase start or end date.
- Select Save to confirm.
- A modal opens that outlines all impacted phase dates and roles.
Phase Date Edited
The impacted phase and tentative change are presented at the top of the window.
Project Date Changes & Impacted Phases
Use the checkbox to determine how the project duration is impacted.
The other phases of the project can be shifted to align with the updated phase or left as is.
Impacted Roles
Confirm which roles are impacted by the change. Roles can be left with the current dates or extended/shifted accordingly to align with the updates.
