Using the Search Bar

Under the People and Projects sections, you will find a search bar for easy lookup of people and project data.

This article provides an overview of what system and custom fields can be found using the search feature.

Date	Date searches must be an exact match. Date search order: mm/dd/yyyy mm/dd/yy yy/mm/dd yyyy/mm/dd mmm d, yyyy	Bridgit Bench will return the first applicable result according to the date search order. For example, searching "01/02/03" could mean Jan 2, 2003, or Feb 3, 2001. However, Jan 2, 2003, will be provided since it first matches mm/dd/yy.
Dollar Value		Currency values are stored without the dollar sign or comma but they include a decimal point.
Phase/Sub-phase (Project Only)		Functions like a text search. Restricted to active phases only.
Phone number	Phone numbers can be searched with or without hyphens/country code: +1 888 555 0102 888-555-0102

The following special characters may yield incorrect or no results when entered in the search bar:

+ \ / - = & | ! ( ) { } ^ " ~ * ? : < > , $

If project numbers include a hyphen, search for partial project numbers for improved results.
